Milas-Bodrum Airport is one of many international airports in Turkey. This airport is placed between the towns of Milas and Bodrum.
First of all, the international terminal was completed in 2000. Furthermore, this then became the domestic terminal in 2012 after the completion of the new international terminal. In addition, the old terminal is now reserved for domestic flights.
Especially relevant, Milas Bodrum Airport hosts about 2.5 million travellers per year. And Milas Bodrum Airport is busy during the peak summer tourism months. This is when charter flights arrive frequently from major cities in Europe.
In 2015, Milas-Bodrum Airport served almost 4 million passengers.
Most of all, Milas Bodrum Airport handles about 3 million passengers on average a year. And the terminal opened in June 2012.
Furthermore, a private company took over operations of Milas Bodrum Airport on behalf of the Turkish Government. As a result, the terminal itself is now large and spacious with additional seating and two outdoor smoking areas. Consequently, the former international terminal has turned into a domestic terminal.
